Inception42 announced Seraj on July 2, 2026 as an enterprise AI model designed to improve Arabic-language reasoning, linguistic accuracy, and cultural understanding. The company says it developed the model with Microsoft and made it available through Compass, Core42's sovereign AI platform.
Core42's official documentation describes Seraj as a model based on GPT-4.1, optimized for Modern Standard Arabic using curated domain data supplied by Inception. This positioning matters for organizations whose workflows depend on Arabic documents, customer conversations, and structured business content.
